Phoenix is a Very Special Cat!

Officer Stephani Johnson of the New Haven Animal Shelter at 81 Fournier Street in New Haven Connecticut rescued Phoenix from the streets of the city. He was then taken to the animal shelter and treated for his terrible wounds. He is now recovering from severe burns to his chest and ears. This is a very dear cat! Despite the abuse he has suffered, he is a loving, affectionate creature.

If and when he regains his strength and health, he will be tested and innoculated for feline deseases and will be classified as "adoptable". After all he has suffered, Phoenix will need and deserve a loving and caring person to care for him.

Great News!!! Phoenix was adopted! He got all better with tender loving care from his foster person who decided that her love for the brave and wonderful kitty was just too great to let her give him up to anyone else!
